The article fails to say from where Syria would get plutonium. Plutonium is the end process of a complicated and expensive process. Does Syria have the industrial infrastructure to create plutonium? Probably not. So if there was plutonium at the site, what was its source? As for our Members of Congress an their claims, these are the same people who swore Saddam had WMD, ties to al Qaeda, and was behind 9/11. And we are to believe them now? Further, if we did have evidence that Syrian had plutonium, Cheney, the neocons, and Bush would be trumpeting this far and wide to gin up support for war. Their silence speaks volumes.
