You ask a good question. Here is an answer: no. The guy was first-day on the job, doing an honest day's labor. He had worked in hot houses tending flowers. He was building a house and preparing for a wedding in the spring. He was callously murdered, brought down by a fellow arab's bullet. No apartheid there, and no cheapening of life.
