Barbed wire, mines and a wall - like it was back in the bad old days from 1949-67? I guess you also would like to bring back the Iron Curtain in Europe and rebuild the Berlin Wall? No, this great city Jerusalem should be open. And we, the israelis, that since 1967 have built Gilo and Givat Zeev and so on, should continue to build in the west and the east and the north and the south. But then one day, when peace with the palestinians is achieved and the State of Palestine is born, then they should have an enclave in north-east Jerusalem with their own parlament and so on. And special arrangements should be made in the Old City. But since we all want (right?) that the city should be open, then Israel will have to be in charge of the security, except inside that enclave.
