This will be Bibi's real legacy. He has brought the extremists from the margins of Israeli society into its very midst. He has a foreign minister who threatens to bomb the Aswan Dam. He has a housing minister who's suspicious of Jews and Arabs living together. He has an infrastructure minister who calls Arabs, whose families have been in the region for hundreds and hundreds of years 'occupiers' and says 'This land is ours,' the Jews' 'and ours alone.' How are we supposed to believe that this government will treat the Arab Israelis and the Palestinians under its power fairly? How much worse does Bibi's government have to get before western governments simply say 'we don't want anything to do with these extremists.'
