Usually people thought of as "the left" are more concerned with human rights and people on the right less so, but there are not two kinds of human rights. My guess is that the people behind this organization will not be so focused on being a watchdog, but more on providing the government with a human rights alibi. Soon all the settlements and "accidental" shootings will have a shiny new stamp of approval from the new human rights watchdog.
