The news brought a feeling of relief then disbelief when I saw people celebrating like rabid sports fans (the analogy works well - the Military is the team, while the civilians are the fans that go crazy for them). Every time we kill an evil man "( I use the term evil loosely), we act like that we've eliminated evil in this world. Nazism and Anti-Semitism didn't die with Hitler or Eichmann. The solemnity of "carrying out justice" merits more than the drunken madness on display in Time Square, which reveals, little by little, our own thirst for blood. I especially fear reprisal attacks and possibly more hassles at airports everywhere.
