I am sorry but you would need to keep your eyes tightly shut to remain unaware of all the building - and I am in fact talking less about the settlements themselves then the associated infrastructure - that now scars Jerusalem and the surrounding areas. I first visited 45 years and it was beautiful, now it is ugly both in spirit and because of the destruction of the landscape. The settlers are focused on settling as many Jews as possible outside the green line in as short a time as possible. In doing so it is clear that they believe that despoiling the landscape is a price worth paying.
