I sure wouldn't want to live in those high rises in Tel Aviv even if I were rich. The problem is similar in Honolulu, Hawaii. I don't live there any more. I moved way out to the country and yes, I am isolated, but at least real estate was cheap and I live free and clear and can afford to dream. Otherwise, I live very simply on solar power and no cars. I will plant more gardens. So don't envy the rich in Tel Aviv. I like your idea of living in eco-friendly homes in the country.
