At least to some extent, architecture students should be required to learn the basics of horticulture. At least that trees absorb heat, evaporate humidity in the summer heat, tend to reduce crime and improve the general health of humans in the area. Also, architectures should learn how much rootspace each tree requires when they plot the trees down. Seriously, it is not that hard with todays fancy techmology.
