I HATE it when people attach the name "holiday" to all things Christmas: calling it a "holiday tree" does not change a thing. It's still a Christmas tree, and it still has nothing to do with Hanukkah. Calling it "holidays" while chewing on the red/green cookies and singing about Jesus or Santa Claus, still does not make it any less Christmas or any more Hanukkah. A Christmas tree is a Christmas tree, and thats quite okay. I love Christmas, and enjoy the decorations and music at my friends' house. Living in a predominantly Christian country, I am happy the Christian majority can celebrate Christmas in public and in private. As long as they also make room for Hanukkah.
