Historical narratives must by necessity be all-inclusive, comprehensive reports giving voice to all the various ethnic groups within a country. This is demonstrated not only in Australia but most prominently also in the U.S. where accounts of human and civil rights abuses by the conquering country against the indigenous ethnic group (Native Americans) and later against African-Americans are today part and parcel of the standard curriculum of any public institute of learning. How in good conscience can Israel exempt herself from internationally accepted standards of giving voice to historical events and perspectives of ALL of its citizens and inhabitants?
