I have no problem substituting the word "mutterings to "opinion" in discussing Gideon Levy's writing. One would be more likely to consider his opinion on its merit were Mr. Levy to express it with more restraint and much less anger and bitterness which overwhelm his message. Anger and bitterness is all that I retain from his writings without remembering what is was all about.
