Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 10 comments
This is the attitude that is keeping the ME down. A leader is respected merely for being a master at saving his own skin? What have Assad and his father done for the Syrian people? Almost a stupid question, they are of course not obligated to do anything for anyone but themselves, the little Alawite clique. Syria's relationship with Iran has overcome many obstacles in it's history and continues to bring benefit to both parties. Syria does not owe Iran anything, today Iran has the plan and Syria approves of the plan and is playing its part. If tomorrow it looks like Iran is going to lose, Syria will easily switch sides to work with the US and Israel, if that is what is best for Assad.
