After Netanyahu says he would wait for a new U.S. president to reach a better military deal for Israel, American officials fire back.00:09 08.02.16 | 0 comments
Let's see.. Dec 2006: the Israeli Govt is ALREADY overdue, so it asks for a 4 month "extension" Extension granted on the promise that if the IDF couldn't negotiate a plan then it would simply force the issue in June 2007. April-May 2007, and that extension has run out, and the IDF's negotiations have failed. Someone reminds Olmert in May 2007 that this will oblige the govt to force an evac in June 2007. Holy Shit! cries Olmert, so he demands that a "plan" be developed and ready by June 2007. June: Nothing July: Nothing August: Nothing September: Nothing October: Nothing And now its November 2007 and Barak is asking for another 2 months to "develop a plan". Now, excuse me, but I *think* I see a pattern here: 1) Say you are going to develop a plan 2) Don't develop a plan 3) When the court taps you on the shoulder you promise step (1) again 4) Repeat steps (1) thru (3) indefinitely It is, in short, a farce.
