Nice to see you again! You are more of an optimist than I am, worst luck...I still can't imagine America dumping Israel, or finally realising--at the last minute--that Israel is nothing but a liability to America. Because it is; in terms of billions of dollars and standing in the world view. Because of America's constant support of Israel no matter what, it has been far more difficult for years for America to be on good terms with Arab countries. But still...we've had a total idiot like Dubya here for six years, can you imagine the next president finally standing up to Israel and telling it to get out of the West Bank and Gaza or else it'll get no more money? Because if the president did that, as you say, Israel has internal problems--it would be forced to take notice. Loss of America's money and influence would mean no more Israel. It shames me that my own country could have gotten the Palestinians their state years ago and won't do it... Best regards
