Mr. Pfeffer, once more I agree with your sagacious viewpoint, this time strongly enough to write about it. Curtailing free speech is a slippery slope - if we stop them, someday someone will stop us. If we suppress expression of ideas, they will not disappear, but rather will slither underground and fester. When we believe in our views, we must be confident that we can debate opposing views openly and win fairly. Thank you for expressing this in your well-thought-out column. I hope Jewish and other leaders worldwide have taken note.
