Ideas are powerful things. Reducing your thoughts to "thumbs up or thumbs down" keystrokes is unfortunately a sign of weak discourse on life's important issues. If people wish to say something they should say it and not hide behind a thumbs up or down symbol. Facebook is especially bad in that it doesn't even include a "thumbs down" symbol. What a sad state we are in today.....amazing access to both information and the ability to debate the issues of the day and we so often resort to simple symbols and buzz words. I wonder if they still teach rhetoric in our schools?
