I can recommend some good restaurants. There's Hess' in Jerusalem -- nothing fancy, but you can get a good meal of Yekki-style sausage. There's a fish restaurant just off Ben Yehuda Street, but I don't remember the name. In Haifa, there's a great kosher Iranian place call Shish Kabob -- on Ben Gureon in the German Colony area. Its small and nothing fancy, but the food is great. I can also give him a few recommendations on hotels. I like the Prima Kings in Jerusalem. Eddie can go just around the corner to the Great Synagogue on Shabbos.
