Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Gilad did well in the interview even though he was at unease. I think it is natural that the media gives attention to such a story. The lady who interviewed him was curious but not disrespectful, or even "inhumane". Keeping him locked up without any contact to the outside world was inhumane. This, not so much.
