First song I ever learnt. Still sing away,in fact I sang Hatikva in the Republic of Guatamala, in the Old City of Guatamala City, amongst the ruins in an underground hall where the Catholic nuns used to sing hymns.I do not profess to know many other songs, yet I am a tenor,well,...of sorts. The words echoed off the walls, suddenly there was this mad clapping, a Christian lady from Minnesota asked me whether it was an Italian Opera...I explained it was the National Anthem of Israel.I had to sing again, with dozens humming along. That was a proud moment. Good day.
