Through out history there have always been sons who have not agreed with their fathers politics. This is just another example. Although his father didnt condone violence, he didnt condone acceptance. His son was a independent thinker, perhaps more of a visionary. It doesent take a wise man to know that millions of jews just arent going to abandon the land of Israel. So with that in mind he had realism in his heart and just wanted to speed up the process of acceptance and bring the bloodshed to an end. Actually, the father should look at the son as a wise man with vision & a futuristic thinker, instead of a traitor. Actually history may someday record him as a hero to his people.
