...we're already having a third world war. It's the "Establishment" (for lack of a better word, sorry) against the "Terrorists" (as they are called by the "Establishment"). What makes this so complex is that these two mega sides are experiencing a lot of infighting and, of course, the line between these two is also somewhat blurred, particularly in some cases. Nuclear weapons aren't needed for a third world war. All you need is a hijacked passenger plane - or an attack helicopter, a cruise missile or a suicide bomber... and, most importantly, enough fanatics to back you up in your quest for destruction and at least a minimum of resources to keep your war machine going. We're not globalising - we *have* globalised - and as long as we keep fighting, we will be involved in a world war.
