I too felt wow, how terrible is it that these kids cheered at such a horrific scene. However, at the same time, I asked myself why would these kids laugh? What thoughts have led them to see such tragedy as humor? Isn't it our responsibility to society, to ask why and understand these kids? Engage in conversation with them so to open the door to teach? Pointing fingers at these kids and attacking them, is not going to allow them to see the harm caused by their laughter. If no one has stopped to speak to these kids and understand them, then that is a tragedy.
