The situation between those two countries and Israel are not comparable. We are in a military campaign with those countries and the supposed goal of the US in those countries is to restore a manageable and democtaric government and civil society. This si not the case with Israel that continues its occupation and carries out human rights violations left and right. Take the case of American Tristan Anderson who the IDF shot with a high velocity cannister in March 2009 while demonstarating at Ni'lin. He is in hospital brain damaged and of course the IDF claims no responsiblity. The US in FY2007 gave Israel $1,654,536 in riot control agents and teargas. It is likely that that money went into purchasing the equipment that incapacity an American citizen protesting injustice. Get it? Americans likely paid for the brain damage of one of their citizens by an army of occuption operating against non violent protests.
