The headlines this week reeked of déjà vu, reminiscent of previous confrontations and intifadas, as conditions on the ground in Gaza are becoming more and more similar to those that preceded the 2014 war.19:05 05.02.16 | 4 comments
a number of years ago there was an experiment at harvard university when they asked 100 philospohers and 100 scientists whether they beleive in G-d. almost all of the philosphers said that they did not and when asked why, they said that science disproved it. when they got the results of the scientists they found almost all beleived in G-d. Philosphers have always had a problem with this concept and have never been able to put their finger on why so they say science disproves it. science does not, even darwin in later life admitted his theory made many speculations and contained not a few holes. i dont know whether creationism should be taught as a science but we can not be arrogant enough to say there is no G-d without proof. the example leibowitz gives above is intentionally childish sounding to discredit this belief.
