I need pre-boarding and an aisle seat because of my knees. I wouldn't sit in a middle or window seat unless it was an emergency and I wouldn't switch seats to convenience a haredi man's bigotry. Of course, if he opened his wallet and offered me the cash price of my ticket to switch, I might be willing to consider it, but he'd have to let me daven with them in my kippah and tallit, woman though I be. Either of those would guarantee that they leave me alone. And if El Al personnel insisted I switch seats, it would be for an aisle seat or not at all!
