The Haredim do not contribute much to state income; many are too poor to pay taxes. But they enjoy state support for having large families and for welfare payments. If the state is also paying for educating their children, they should also be required to teach basic subjects (like math, for God's sake) so that the children have some professional choices when they grow up. If the Haredim reject this, let them pay for education from their own pockets.
