    She wrote a wonderfully incisive book about the Eichmann trial, and specifically about Eichmann the man. Her famous line about the banality of evil still has resonance today even though this author seeks to discredit it. But we can still learn from it. In truth, Eichmann was barely anti-semitic at all. What he was, was simply a mid-level functionary doing his banal job and helping to cause the death of thousands in the process. All people should think hard about that! It is still a very instructive lesson.
