I think there are definate injustices that we Jews and Israelis have caused ,from the inception of the modern Israel against the Arabs in the area for this we must be responsible. There is another hand even if you dont want to admit it,Hanem. It is not completely Black and White, but I am stuck with the Hamas/Jihad charter situation and prefer the defensive Sharon tact when thinking about it. I would like peace but am afraid of the Islamicist situation. I think the PA dealing directly with it is not realistic.I think they need Israels help.It wont happen thats why i prefer the land for peace only AFTER this has been resolved. There is no need for Israel to do anything now so why should I agree wuth something that cant and wont happen with the PA and the groups? For me,I prefer Sharon deals directly with Hamas if they are going to put pressure on and give Hamas an ultimatum instead of Abbas.

A milestone birthday is as good an opportunity as any for a midlife crisis about the Middle East crises.
