This reminds me of the tale of the scorpion and the turtle: The turtle was down by the river one day and so was the scorpion. The scorpion wanted to get to the other side of the river so he asked turtle to let him ride across on his shell. Turtle said no because he knew that the scorpion had a reputation for stinging without provocation and that his sting was deadly. But, scorpion talked turtle into it and they started acros the river. About half way across the scorpion stung turtle in the back of his neck. As turtle was dying he asked scorpion why he had done that since scorpion would drown when turtle sank in the river. All scorpion said was, "What did you expect? I am a scorpion." So it is with Hamas!
