There is no doubt that for Israel,Hamas has been a vicious entity,but to their own people it seems they are caring. How do we deal with this entity? I think we use good old fashion divide and conquer(I say this in the most positive way) I am sure no matter what Hamas says that within it there are different people with different agendas.Just like within Israels right wing it is the same dichotomy. There are the Islamic Fundamentalists and also the people who feel that the Palestinians are hard done by. The key is to split these two groups. (Its the same on our side,but everytime a bomb goes off it welds the two sides together as one unit,so the very ultimate intent is to unify ones own group) The more we go to discussion and compromise,the LESS effective they are as a totalitarian entity.(Chamberlain certainly put the scare into any future compromises didnt he) The Less we go to discussion and compromise the more we keep our own right wing intact and belligerent. Now is the time for brave choices. Hopefully Sharon has cast his stone down the middle and we will take a path that is filled with compromise with the greatest amount of security. Hama can be Ugly,Bad and Good.Lets find the good.
