The explosive dilemma of 'collaboration' with the Nazis in order to save German Jews split the Zionist movement in the 1930s.00:01 01.05.16 | 0 comments
It stands to reason all the credit should go to Hamas for the recent diplomatic successes regarding recognition of Palestinian statehood. The strategic alliance between Hamas and Iran is bearing fruit. Abbas has sided with America, where Congress passed a resolution strongly opposing Palestinian statehood. Hamas put it's chips on Iran and what do you know, it delivered South America to the cause and Europe is not far behind. If anyone thinks that hapless bunch in the PA deserve any credit for these diplomatic victories - think twice. Hamas has achieved major milestones on the diplomatic front - causing an irreparable schism between Israel and Turkey - and now obtaining international recognition that was denied to Fatah for decades. Fatah can't show anything - a UN resolution condemning settlement freeze is the best they can do? And an American veto to boot? It would be comical if not so tragic. PA needs to open Iranian embassy in Ramallah - that would be an answer to America's veto and the AIPAC run Congress worthless resolutions.
