"Like all governments it has its faults" - what an understatement! Did you mean the Hamas charter, which calls for Israel to be replaced by a Palestinian Islamic state, or its anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial? It was not the West's refusal to recognise Hamas' electoral victory that turned it into a 'supposedly' terrorist organisation - it had already by that time been responsible for many suicide bombs against innocent people. Objectively, Hamas are terrorists because they try to achieve their aims through creating terror among Israel's civilian population. They might also be freedom fighters, but the two things are not subjective - a terrorist is a terrorist, if he acts like one, whether others call him a 'freedom fighter' or not.
