    This false line of thinking needs to be challenged. Hamas are both the official leaders of the Palestinians and a resistant group - consistent with their right under INTERNATIONAL LAW to resist military oppression. They did not commit war crimes by any definition of the term. This is a case of appearing to be 'balanced' - so as to appease the Israel lobby. And it's false. When Israel gets out of Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem and then Hamas sends rockets into civilian centers - THEN you can talk about war crimes. Until then Hamas is carrying out it's OBLIGATION to defend the Palestinian people from Israeli aggression. Perhaps if Hamas had proper armaments like those of Israel(like the guided missiles, bombs, rockets that Israel has used to target Hamas officals during offical cease-fires) then we'd talk about war crimes - but those firecrackers that Hamas has used are not proof of the purposeful targeting of civilians in Israel. They simply are not
