There of course is no evidence in the history of Hamas that indicates a sincere change of intent. The question remains how will they govern? Will there emerge an allowance for dissent or will it be stifled? No transparency of governance and we continue to see the continuation and growth of governance by fear then options are more obvious and more narrow. Will they uphold the rule of law; ie all are anwerable to the law...Magna Carta kind of basics? As the time rolls on, and there really is no lengthy window of opportunity here because many eyes pondering Iraq, Iran, and the alarming possibilities of nuclear escalation are impatient and fearful. Hamas will bear the fruit it has sown. And the world will deal with it.
