Israel can never forgive Gen. Dan Halutz for his swaggering show-boating idiocy of bombing Beirut Airport and Beirut city for 3 days and dropping no bombs on Hizbullah in S. Lebanon. Sheikh Nasrallah saw and grasped a golden opportunity sending large numbers of his fighters South from Beirut in long civilian car convoys. Hizbullah reinforced the grossly undermanned bunkers, tunnels and fortified positions and the Israeli army broke its back trying unsuccessfully to dislodge these fighters from Bint JBail and Maroun Al Ras. Halutz will always be remembered as the Goliath General who sent 45,000 IDF troops to vanquish 500 Hizbullah and ended up having his IDF soundly beaten & forced to beg for a cease fire after 34 days. Good riddance and now its every failed IDFs generals turn to resign for the good of our nation so our army can be rehabilitated with new blood, not old twice-defeated by Hizbullah, IDF generals blood.

Why Barak regrets speaking out on Iran

There was no security breach in what the former defense minister said about how an attack was thwarted; what has suffered is mainly Israel’s image as a well-run, normal country whose leaders are capable of keeping a secret.
