The vast majority of Palestinians fled and were not physically driven from their homes. Only last week, there was an article here in Haaretz which mentioned how the Palestinian refugees in Iraq were recruits in the Iraqi army during that army's invasion. Were Jews in Alexandria pressing for Egypt's anihilation? There will never be moral equivalence between the two deparures. Never. And the shedding of light on the expulsion of Jews from Arab and Moslem lands is only just beginning.
