I just wish that this type of reporting could be seen by the Jewish Community here in Montreal. Unfortunately, even the most enlightened close ranks here at the mere mention of any sympathy to Palestinians. This, in spite of the images of women, children and the elderly, blown apart in retribution for the rocket attacks. The justification is that it is the price the Palestinian people must pay for harboring terrorists. And so the hatred is spit from one side to the other. Excuse my naivety; but would a group of doctors who announced their intention to hold a clinic in a Gazan town, would it be allowed by Israeli authorities? Would their lives be at some risk, or great risk if they entered Gaza by themselves to carry out such a humanitarian gesture? If those people had schools, hospitals and jobs, they would be too busy, as we are, to think about building tinkertoy rockets.....
