In an interview with the Washington Times, Admiral Mullen said that from a military standpoint, there is more than enough reserve to respond if that is what the national leadership wanted to do, and so he does not think the US forces are too stretched in that regard. It is very clear that U.S. military forces are capable of conducting operations against Iran if called on to bomb nuclear facilities or other targets, the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said just three days ago. US forces would be overstretched only if major ground operations were necessary. This is however not the case. To bomb the military infrastructure of the mullahs out of existence and to cripple their nuclear program is no problem, why not publish it?
