Older Jews like myself were Zionists before 67 and still are inspite of our opposition to the occupation. Just because some people now brand us as Jew-haters, Israel-haters and throw other such simple-minded terms of abuse at us does not stop us wanting Israel to survive as a homeland for Jews. But what we seek is an Israel that does not occupy someone else's land, does respect its gift of statehood by understanding that another people suffered so we could get our homeland, believes that every citizen in Israel should have full equality, regardless of their ethnic background.
