Yeah, THAT's why Netanyahu evoked the Biblical mentions OF Israel a day or two ago in strengthening Israel's case for it's right to exist. Good on him for doing that first and foremost. Those in Israel, and this is coming from an American, should be LUCKY to have found yourselves with such strong leadership. Further, as a Christian who understands when Jesus said he was not sent here to CHANGE anything in the Old Testament, but rather to fulfill it's promises, I take that as him not trying to deny the laws of the OT, but rather be the fulfillment of spiritual manifestation of salvation. Yeah, he may have put more of a premium on what one says as opposed to what one puts in their mouth (see: Book of Matthew, Jesus challenging thought on this with Rabbis), but we are still to adhere to OT law. I don't understand why SOME, because it certainly is not MOST, in Israel cannot except Christian support in this time of unrest? Most Jewish scholars accept that Christians are the brothers and sisters OF the Jews because of our shared belief IN the God of Israel. It's what sets our relationship apart, AND what further proves the severity and necessity of our banding together to push back against our shared threat found IN Islam.
