The most important question, is the Haredi school a public or private one? If state funds are used, then the state should have ultimate say over who attends and why. Second, are these religious clauses standard operating procedures for all students? Is there coercion involved? Again, this goes right back to the private vs. public nature of the school. Third, Rabbi Laum. If he has 100 examples, then why aren't details mentioned? Where is the investigation behind the allegations. Fourth, the headline is misleading. If the argument raised by Rabbi Lalum is correct, than immodesty has nothing to do with the issue, its one of discrimination. Why lead with a non issue? Which leads to the questioning of Ha'Aretz editors, why choose such an inflamatory headline if has nothing to do with the story?
