If 'these people' with whom one cannot negotiate or converse are unusual in Israel, why do they run the government? And it's not exactly a new development either. Palestinians have been ejected from their homes since 1948, and humiliated at checkpoints etc. for decades. How come the 'Jewish tradition' didn't interfere with this longstanding practice?
