Mr. Ramon kissed a young woman, who he wasn't dating and didn't know - without asking her first. That's stupid. Deserves a good, solid, sharp slap in the face. --- But a conviction? Jail time? ---- He wasn't holding a weapon to her. He never requested she keep it a secret. He wasn't in any position to affect her life personally or professionally (and made no such move). He did not continue to pursue her or demand anything of her. She was of age. She showed him no direct sign of displeasure. ---- Okay, He was acting like an idiot. A selfish, somewhat chauvanistic old man, mistakingly convinced of some sexual desirability that he really doesn't have. If that is a crime, we will need to get a few more jails lined up for a large percentage of the male population. ---- The Israeli judicial system is conducting a witch hunt. Yeah - they really got one with Katzav - but Ramon is just an idiot bystander. --- Hope he appeals.
