That way we can solve the Saturday problem, but not exactly the way the religious want it. The religious believe that by adding one more day off, they'll dedicate the Saturday to religion. Not exactly. What we should do is make laws making it illegal, or costly, to employ the same person on both weekend days, so that everyone gets at least one day off during the weekend. Or, at least make it so that if you want a worker to work both days, you pay 400% for the second weekend day. That way we can ensure that workers get their day off with everybody else, and not in the middle of the week when their family and friends are at work, and at the same time be done away with the religious excuse of 'worker's right'.
