First comprehensive study in Hebrew into Islamic State says Sunni group could wield more influence over Israeli Arabs and Palestinians if it takes land closer to Israel’s borders.11:08 28.11.15 | 1 comments
The point is not whether Grass would be able to publish his poem in Teheran or Tel Aviv, but whether or not he is talking sense. Would it be sensible to work for a nuclear-free Middle East? Would this be possible without Israel putting its own nuclear weapons on the table, at least admitting international inspectors. As it is, if Israel openly admitted to having such weapons, presumably it would have to give up the financial support it gets from the USA - anti-proliferation treaty, signed by Iran, ignored by Israel.
