Goldstone concluded that the goal of Israel's Gaza raid was to kill as many civilians as possible. So let me get this straight: Five hundred top of the line Warplanes with one ton bombs backed by thousands of tanks and soldiers attacking the most crowded place on earth for a month and all Israel could kill was 1000 people (combatants accounting for the majority of deaths) out of a population of well over 1.5 million? Goldstone needs to go back to grade one math class. The only conclusion one can draw from the number of deaths is that Israel took extreme steps to avoid civilian casualties.
