Government taxation is like being mugged, brutes use force to steal from those who refuse to fight back against them. In today’s political environment of choosing winners and losers, the rush to tax, is in your hands! The issue of “so called” fairness. In United States usage, a referendum. Such a vote is known, when originating in the initiative process, as an "initiative," "ballot measure", "initiative measure" or "proposition." In New Zealand a vote initiated by the public is called a citizens initiated referendum. Why not put all taxes to a vote by the public "you" before they are made law! Do you have rights are not ? Do you want to use these rights or not ? If so start a petition to allow the israeli to adopt or refuse taxes on gifts from family or friends by mail from abroad? Like one of each items, per month, per house hold without taxes or import duties? Speaking about medicines, foods, treats, for birthdays, holidays? This effects the poor more than the rich. We're not speaking about cars, homes, refridigator. We speaking about the basics of life to be healthy, have treats, like made of foods. Special occasion or things not available in Israel? Such a Twizzlers, Lysol to fight mold and virus germs, allergy meds, pills for arthritis pain as my mom and me have.
