What is this obsession with tycoons, if anybody has economic problems or if they government cuts back on social welfare then blame the tycoons. The rich have been turned into scapegoats and the reason is envy. Its not fair or its morally wrong in some way that one man can spend more on luxuries in a single day than the average israeli earns in a year, its the old socialist idea of we should all be equal and if we are not then there is something wrong and we must change that, go after the oppressors who are getting rich at our expense. We have been fighting very hard to move the country away from its socialist roots and modernise the economy but sadly it seems socialism is still lurking beneath the surface just waiting to raise its head and destroy the economy. If the people don't like the current economic situation don't blame the rich just because they are rich blame Lapid because he is the finance minister and the cuts being made are his ideas. Its also unlikely the social protests of 2011 will happen again, Leef has become a full time paid social activist and she will organise events might even get a couple of thousand attending some but the kind of protests we saw first time round are a once in a lifetime sort of thing and its the kind of thing you cannot organise it has to come from the grass roots but since 2011 all protests have been organised events.
