Years ago the court said the government must set aside an area at Robinsons Arch for egalitian prayers which WOW rejected so they keep coming to the main plaza. The Sharansky plan is just making a much more fancy area for the reformers at Robinsons Arch. This is at a time when WOW managed to get the court to allow them to hold their services at the plaza now though its Robinsons Arch so they got the victory they had been fighting for now they are having to give it up as should be the case because just because they want the plaza to be for reform services dodn't mean the majority do. Sadly I have a feeling that once the egalitarian section is built WOW will reject it again because they are feminist movement who want to get rid of all institutions of orthodoxy in Israel because they beleieve orthodox Judaism oppresses women. Anat Hoffman has already said on the record they do not intend to stop with the Kotel. What Hoffman really wants to see is Israel become a mini America where the vast majority of the Jews are reform with orthodox being a minority.
